2023 Happy Chinese New Year” brings talented chefs from the Malaysia-China Chinese Cuisine Culinary Awards 2022 to the homes of Malaysians from different ethnicities, to work with them on a traditional reunion dinner dish. The chefs will improvise with the ingredients they have in their home, allowing the families to cook Chinese dishes with a local twist. The culinary exchange will also provide an insight into the meaning of each New Year’s Eve dishes, allowing all the Malaysian to learn more about China’s millennia-old culinary culture. Through the program, we hope that Malaysians will be able to experience the meaning of reunion dinner, as well as the mingling festive, celebratory and joyful atmosphere that comes with the food.
