In his struggle with the loss of his mother, a man turns to cutting-edge technology to create a virtual replica of her—her voice, her presence, her love—just as he remembers. He hopes this virtual character will soothe his heartache and heal his father’s sorrow. However, as the virtual mother becomes increasingly lifelike, the illusion begins to unravel painful truths buried within him.
